We are pleased to announce the expansion of our SPS Brazil network, with the addition of SSE Group and Megatherm. As licensed agents, SSE Group and Megatherm will utilise our Sandwich Plate System (SPS) for a range of applications in the oil and gas, industrial and construction industries, with projects including critical and time sensitive builds, as well as asset repair and maintenance.
The increased global use of SPS, a permanent, class approved, cost competitive alternative to traditional crop and renewal, reflects the drive across a multitude of sectors for increasingly efficient, and non-disruptive, build and repair techniques to save time and reduce OPEX costs.
Specifically, Megatherm, which provides thermal insulation products and services to the oil and gas, industrial and construction markets, will use SPS to provide steel reinforcement, impact resistance and thermal insulation for its customers.
Sergio Mattozo, Director, Megatherm Brazil, commented: “Many of our main customers in the offshore industry, including Transocean and SBM Offshore, rely on SPS to provide superior levels of reinforcement and enable first-rate insulation. We consider SPS to be an important product in our portfolio that we will use to help meet the needs of our offshore customers here in Brazil.”
SSE supplies tailored solutions to its customers to improve the efficiency of their operations. The company, which provides the well control equipment, instrumentation and hose integrity management, has been operational in the oil and gas industry since 2009. It will use SPS to further its customer commitment to source sustainable solutions that offer the highest levels of safety, reliability and durability.
Marjorhy Lloyd-Jones, Commercial Assistant, SSE, said: “As a consequence of our strategy and the satisfaction of our customers, we have been well placed to lead the Latin American Well Control market for many years. Our leading market position and similar company values puts us in a great place to be an ideal and trustworthy partner for SPS Technology.”
