SPS Technology Launched as New Brand Name

We are delighted to announce the launch of SPS Technology as the new brand name and holding company for the provision of Sandwich Plate Systems internationally. The business has been re-structured and capitalised by a mix of existing and new investors to allow SPS Technology to deliver our structural composite product from a strong and secure base.

CEO, David Glover commented, “We are entering an exciting new phase for SPS that will allow the business to deepen its international coverage as well as investing in on-going research and development into new products and services. Knowledge, accessibility and communication will be at the heart of everything we do.  The new web site is live and during this three month transition period existing contact channels will remain available but will divert to our new email addresses using”

Rory Tapner, Chairman, SPS Technology, stated, “This new company provides the opportunity to showcase how SPS is used in industry.  Through close collaboration with our technology partners, BASF, with whom SPS was initially developed, we will continue to  explore existing and innovative product sectors and markets”

All commercial, financial and operational aspects of current projects remain unchanged. Along with future enquiries, projects will be incorporated under the new SPS Technology brand from 01 July 2019.  The restructuring provides the new company with a strong platform to engage with the construction, offshore and maritime markets in which SPS has successfully replaced traditional structural alternatives such as concrete and stiffened steel.

More importantly, the company is now well placed to work with our partners and licensees to aggressively target new markets where we know the SPS value proposition will continue to challenge the status quo in a positive, economic and purposeful way.

This is a very exciting time for SPS Technology.  The continuation of our existing activities, combined with the acceleration of our research and development investment will enable the SPS Technology team to make a real difference and move forward at pace.
